How to install Overlay – Questera

Questera has released an update that allows users to download and track their challenge progress in real time with the new Questera Overlay.

To install the overlay, follow these steps:

On the website, click “Try Questera Overlay”.
Then select “Download” (available for Windows users only
If your Windows security system displays a warning, follow the on-screen instructions. This is the official Questera software and safe to install.
After the file downloads, open your Downloads folder and run the .exe file.
In the installation wizard, click “Next”.
Then select the folder where you want to install the program, and click “Install”.
Once the installation is complete, click “Finish”.
A Questera icon will appear on your desktop. Click it to launch the program.
When it starts, you’ll be prompted to log in.
You’ll be redirected to our login page in your browser. If you’re already signed in, the program will automatically detect your profile and log you in. If not, sign in to your account, and the program will complete the login process automatically.
After signing in successfully, the overlay will appear in the top-right corner of your screen.
Each time you accept a new challenge, the overlay will display its description and requirements. These requirements will update dynamically in real time as you complete the challenge.
The overlay itself is not clickable — all actions are controlled using keyboard shortcuts. To configure or hide it, press Alt + U.

You can make the overlay more transparent, smaller in size, or completely hide it.
When you finish adjusting settings, press Alt + U again to save changes, or close it by clicking the X icon in the top-right corner of the overlay.
To fully close the program, open the Windows system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen), find the Questera icon, right-click it, and select Exit.

From this menu, you can also change the overlay language, log out of your account, or read the Terms of Use.
